My Experience

Summary

In August of 2024, I received my Master’s of Resilient Urban Design graduate degree from Clemson University. The program is transdisciplinary and views urban design issues from design, community, and sustainability perspectives. Within this professional program, I sharpened my creative approach and added skills within programs such as AutoCAD, Rhino, and the Adobe Suite. Additionally  I have some familiarity with construction documents and civil site design from my internship this summer at a landscape architecture firm in Charleston, SC. Some of my favorite work in the program was participating in a Better Block event in North Charleston and creating and presenting design suggestions for the municipalities of Lake City, SC and Mount Pleasant, SC as a part of the Riley Mayors’ Design Fellowship.

I believe that my passion for intentional design, creative problem solving approach, and personal relatability would serve me well as I begin my career. I aim to understand and approach challenges innovatively. I work to drive forward the mission at hand and support my teammates as they work to do the same. My experience across multiple industries and with a wide range of age groups enables me to incorporate various perspectives that enhance my work.
